This China cymbal has a fast attack for quick accents and a smooth roll that evokes gong-like dramatic swells. Complex overtones follow the 602 China’s initial attack. This is thanks to Paiste’s traditional CuSn20 bronze (80% copper/20% tin) – the same alloy used in Paiste’s Masters cymbals – and a random hammering pattern.
