The Pearl Aluminum Symphonic Series Concert Snare Drum provides the Pearl SR300 Triple Strainer combined with the power and cutting tone of proven Aluminum shell sound. The higher pitch and cut of aluminum is the perfect complement to the 100% maple of the SYP Symphonic models. This 14″”x 5.5″ / 14″ x 6.5″ concert snare drum accomplishes everything from the lightest roll to a thunderous crack in solo and ensemble work.
The heart and soul of the Pearl Symphonic Series is the proprietary SR-300 Multi-Timbre Snare Strainer system that functions like 3 individually controlled throw-offs. Each of the 3 levers of the SR-300 strainer system controls 6 strands of either Snappy wire, wound cable, or heavy coated cable. Individual tension knobs provide an additional layer of tone control for uncompromising tuning accuracy and control.
Features like the natural brushed aluminum finish, classic styled tube lugs, Pearl’s acclaimed Master Cast Die-Cast hoops, and Remo Renaissance heads, insure you that no construction detail has been overlooked.
